Virginia Beach, Va. (07/06/20) – The PENROD Company is proud to announce the promotion of Matthew Hersey to COO of the Hardware & Cellular PVC Division. Matt, a retired U.S. Army Major, joined PENROD in 2019 as Supply Chain Manager. In his new role, Matt will oversee operations in North America and the global manufacturing of PENROD’s hardware and cellular PVC products. Prior to joining PENROD, Matt worked for Amazon Fulfillment holding positions as Senior Regional Start-Up Program Manager, Project Manager, and Facilities Manager.
Ron Talley has been promoted to Vice President, Warehousing & Logistics. Ron joined PENROD in 2014 as Warehouse Manager and has assumed increasing responsibility throughout his tenure by leading PENROD’s most recent distribution center expansion. Ron’s promotion not only acknowledges the significant role logistics plays in the supply chain but also the sense of professionalism, responsibility, and teamwork that Ron has brought to his position. In his new role, Ron will oversee all warehousing and logistics for PENROD’s hardware & cellular PVC products.
Martin Cawdery recently joined PENROD as Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Martin will lead sales and new business strategies while further developing key customers and division representatives throughout North America. Martin, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Officer, has held senior management positions in commercial sales, including international assignments. Before joining PENROD, Martin worked for Delta Airlines as Senior Manager, System Reliability Emergency Response, and most notably as a Senior Operations Manager of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Robert Fairchild: We now take the opportunity to formally announce the appointment of Robert Fairchild to Sales Manager of the hardware and PVC divisions, reporting to Martin Cawdery. Robert started with PENROD in 2008 and has worked diligently in executing his sales and marketing responsibilities. We look forward to his continued success.
Polina Elliott has been promoted to Buyer reporting to Matt Hersey. Polina has been with the company since 2015, where she began in customer service. She has since then taken on additional responsibilities in purchasing and will now be responsible for purchasing all of the division’s hardware and PVC products. Polina holds a Specialist Degree in Legal Studies from Moscow Witte University.
Derek Blackwell has been promoted to the position of Warehouse Manager for the High Point, Distribution Center, reporting to Ron Talley. Derek joined PENROD in 2017 as Warehouse Assistant and currently holds a degree in Supply Chain Management.
